It takes about 3.5 hours to get to Plitvice Lakes from Split so it is very important to have a comfortable air-conditioned bus and a friendly guide who will tell you a bit about the places you pass by. We found it all on this tour and we haven’t been able to find a better tour to Plitvice in Split so far.

Good to know before the trip:

Take water and snacks with you. There are restaurants at Plitvice Lakes, but you may want to spend your time exploring and it is good to have a snack for the bus ride.

Make sure you wear comfortable footwear, you will be walking alot.

Take a book, or something to relax with during the bus ride. Or simply enjoy the beautiful views.

It can be cold near the waterfalls during pre and post season, so make sure you take a light jacket.
